MICHELLE KEMP
Founder and Consultant
Seeing the inequities in the educational system and the disproportion of leaders of color in influential roles, Michelle focused on improving and sustaining schools through diversity recruitment and retention. After 15+ years of leading human capital initiatives for public and charter school districts and designing community engagement strategies, Michelle founded MK Consulting Group, LLC. Her goal is to help organizations create more equitable workspaces that truly value all leaders, especially BIPOC, for their unique talents, skillsets, and lived experiences.
Michelle has a Master of Business Administration in Project Management, a Bachelor's Degree in Communications, MBTI Certified Practitioner, Surge Institute Fellow, Chicago Urban League IMPACT Leadership Fellow, Associate Board of Golden Apple Foundation, a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and SHRM Chicago.
